Mangaluru: Former union minister B Janardhana Poojary has proposed stringent action against those obstructing women’s entry into Sabarimala temple.
Addressing the reporters here on Monday, January 7, Poojary said, “All human beings are the children of God and women are not an exception. According to media reports, three women have already entered the Sabarimala temple and the Kerala government should allow all the women to do so. It is the duty of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to ensure none would prevent the entry of women into Sabarimala temple”, he said.
“Though some people including politicians are opposing the entry of women into Sabarimala temple, Lord Ayyappa has not put any such restriction. If anyone is objecting to the entry of women, they must have some hidden agenda. It is a great injustice to the women fraternity”, he said.
