Mangaluru: Home Minister Rajnath Singh informed that India has given befitting reply to Pakistan through its surgical strike II, few days ago, but, unfortunately, a power hungry lot is suspecting the heroism of military forces.

He was addressing the conference of booth-level leaders of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi- Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituencies at Nehru Maidan, here on Saturday, March 9.

He said, “India will not spare anyone who launches terror attacks on our country. If a terrorist hides in ‘Pathal’, our military forces are capable of tracing him. However, it is shameful that a few are sympathizing with the terrorists in a bid to oppose the BJP and the central government”, he said.

Rajnath Singh said that India would achieve the position of Vishwa Guru under the leadership of Narendra Modi. As India’s economy is steadily growing, it will achieve top three position in entire world by 2028.

“There is a demand for separate railway division in Mangaluru. If the BJP comes to power again, it will seriously think on materialising this demand. As several projects of Modi government are still pending, people should bless upon the BJP an electoral victory once again”, Rajnath said.

Former chief minister and BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa said that the booth level workers should utilise remaining six weeks for spreading the pro-people programmes of the central government.

Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said,” DK district has received over Rs 16,000 crores under various development schemes. As people are aware of the welfare programmes of Modi led union government, they will definitely re-elect him as the prime minister of our country.”

Kota Srinivas Poojary, opposition leader in Legislative Council questioned Congress leader B K Hariprasad’s statement of ‘match fixing’ on recent surgical strike 2.

” If you say it was a match fixing, then what will you say about Mumbai attack? It must be the match fixing between the then prime minister Manmohan Singh and Kasab”, he said.

Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, leaders B Y Raghavendra, V Sunil Kumar, Vedavyas Kamath, Umanath Kotian, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Jeevaraj, Pratapsimha Nayak, Rudre Gowda, Gopalakrishna Herale, Sanjeeva Matandoor, Monappa Bhandary among others were present.
