Mangaluru: The police have arrested one of the prime accused in connection to the murder case of SDPI leader Ashraf Kalayi.
The arrested is Divyaraj Shetty. He alongwith Bharath Kumdelu had allegedly conspired to kill Ashraf. The police are still on the lookout for Bharath.
Earlier on Saturday, the police had arrested Pavan Kumar alias Punda (24), Santhosh alias Santhu (23), Shivaprasad alias Shivu (24), Ranjith (28) and Abhin Rai (23). The police have taken them into custody after producing them in the court.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to confirm the arrest of Divyaraj Shetty.
