Puttur: Weddings are supposed to be a memorable day for any bride or groom, it doesn’t matter if yours is a runaway marriage or a pompous one because years down the line the day is only to be recalled fondly. Offlate one can even avail the services of wedding planners to make your day stand out from the others by coming out with a novel idea for your D-day.

Here in Puttur too, a man chose a novel way to take out his wedding procession. He chose not a high-end SUV, which of course is very common nowadays but opted for the vehicle from which he earns his bread-n-butter, that is a JCB.

On January 18, the groom Chetan and his just-wedded wife Mamata were the cynosure of all eyes as they took out their wedding procession seated on the fully decorated JCB.

Reportedly, Chetan who hails from Kallakatta near Santyar in the taluk works as a JCB operator and decided that this would be the perfect way to show his indebtedness towards the job that fetches him his livelihood.

The couple got married at Shivakripa marriage hall at Parpunja near Santyar on Monday.
