Mangaluru: Commenting on BJP National President Amith Shah’s visit to the city, State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader said that people should question BJP chief on the “pro-people” programme introduced by the Centre.

Addressing media persons here on October 4, Khader said that during the previous Lok Sabha elections the BJP had assured of bringing back money, retaliating against Pakistan in a proper manner, creating one crore employment for the youth in the country, arresting Dawood Ibrahim, solving problems of farmers but nothing has been done so far. People were mislead only with assurances, he added.

“People should question Shah in this regard. This is not Gujarat. This is Karnataka. People in this state are intelligent. This BJP leader cannot mislead the people of this state. Here people always live in truth and humanity”, he said.

Commenting on Amith Shah’s Z+ security, Khader also said that people in BJP were criticising Rajiv Gandhi for availing Z+ when he was the prime minster, but now people in BJP were using such security.”

Khader criticising Shobha Karandlaje for commenting on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s “Kaam Ki Baath” as “Loot Ki Baath”, said “Only BJP leaders can speak about Loot Ki Bath. Entire country has witnessed how looting had took place in BJP’s regime.”
