Mangaluru: “Indian National Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will visit Bengaluru and parts of Mandya district and will meet the affected farmers as well as families of the farmers who committed suicide, on October 9”, informed district Congress interim president Ibrahim Kodijal addressing a press meet, on Thursday, October 1.
Speaking at the district Congress office, Kodijal informed that at 9 am, he is scheduled to meet the farmers and the others affected in the region after which at 1 pm, Rahul will take part in a convention of elected panchayat members at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru.
All the elected members of the parliament, MLAs, MLCs, all the office-bearers of KPCC will take part in the convention. All the state ministers will also take part,” he said.
