Railway Announces Summer Special Trains with Discounted Fares

To accommodate the increased number of passengers expected during the summer season, Railway authorities have introduced bi-weekly special trains at discounted fares. These trains will operate between Udhna Junction and Mangaluru Junction, commencing from April 7, 2024.

Additionally, the Southern Railway has extended the timings of four special trains until April 25. Travellers seeking detailed information regarding halt timings and other relevant details can utilize the NTES App or visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.

Udhna Junction-Mangaluru Junction Special Trains

  • Train No. 09057 will depart every Wednesday and Sunday from April 7 to June 5, 2024, at 20:00 hours, reaching Mangaluru Junction the following day at 19:00 hours.
  • Conversely, Train No. 09058 will depart from Mangaluru Junction every Thursday and Monday, starting April 8, 2024, at 22:00 hours, and arrive at Udhna Junction at 21:05 hours the next day.

Special Trains Routes and Compositions

These special trains will make stops at various stations, including Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, and Roha, among others, to cater to the convenience of travellers. Comprising 23 coaches, including 2 Tier AC, 3 Tier AC, Sleeper, General, and SLR coaches, all passengers are assured of a comfortable journey.

Railway authorities encourage passengers to avail themselves of these additional services to facilitate their summer travel arrangements. This initiative reflects the railway industry’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience and efficiently managing travel demands during specific seasons.
