Mangaluru: The city which experienced rainfall on Wednesday might continue to do so for the next 2-3 days. Rain, thundershowers are very likely to occur in several places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over interior Karnataka.
Many places over south interior Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka witnessed rainfall in the last couple of days. Dry weather conditions are expected to prevail after 4 to 5 days in the state.
Rainfall of 6 cm was recorded in Virajpet and Ponnampet. Kushalnagar recorded rain fall of 4 cm followed by Napoklu, Madapura, Somwarpet and Molakalmuru with 3 cm. Places like Arakalgud, Konanur , Kolar, Belur, Hallimysore, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Mysuru, H D Kote, H B Halli (Ballari dt), Uchangidurga and Chitradurga recorded rainfall of 2 cm followed by 1 cm rainfall at Puttur, Bellatti, Ajjampura and Kadur.
