Kasargod: In a shameful incident, three men gang raped a minor Dalit girl, who had come to a hospital for treatment in Kasargod.
Three persons involved in the crime have been arrested and the arrested are Kishore (29), Manjunath (34) and Anil Kumar, all residents of Uduma.
The victim is a student of tenth standard hailing from Rajapuram area and is said to be originally hailing from Karnataka. She had reportedly come to Kasargod General hospital for treatment on August 23. It is said that the girl was raped by her father earlier.
In the hospital, she met Kishore, a temporary employee of the hospital who trapped the girl by promising her of all help for the treatment. After winning her trust, Kishore managed to take her out of the hospital in his own auto. While taking her to an unidentified location, two others are said to have joined him. They took her to Hosadruga area and gang raped her, it is said.
When the girl returned to the hospital, complaining of severe abdominal pain, the doctors found that she was gang raped.
A case has been registered.
