Mangaluru: “There is an important lead in the murder of RSS activist Sharath Madivala case and I will reveal if National Investigation Agency takes up the probe,” said Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurpur Vajradehi Matt on July 14.
Addressing a press meet, Swamiji who is also honorary president of Hindu Rakshana Samiti, said, “We strongly oppose the move of present government to book Hindu leaders in connection with stone pelting during the funeral procession of RSS leader Sharath Madiwala. During the procession, our leaders were not involved in violence and they are falsely implicated under sections 307 and 309 cases. Hindus across the state never disrupt peace or incite communal clashes. The present state government is provoking us to involve in riots.”
He further said that NIA office should be established in Mangaluru to avoid such clashes. “The incessant attacks on Hindus have been the act of terrorists residing in Kerala and Bhatkal. Since we can not trust the probe under present government, we will meet the governor and demand NIA probe into the entire issue.”
He also blamed District In-charge Minister Ramanath Rai and Minister U T Khader for imposing Section 144 throughout Dakshina Kannada.
