Rotary district 3181 conducts training prog for newly inducted office-bearers

Mangaluru: Rotary District 3181 (2019-20) organised a training programme for its newly inducted members at Rotary Bal Bhavan in Mannagudda on Sunday, February 24.

District Governor Elect 2019-20 and retired professor of Philomena College Joseph Mathew inaugurated the training programme and explained about the need for the programme.

Training sessions on different topics were held by resource persons. Past assistant governor Ashok Kumar shed light upon holding club meetings. Past assistant governor Sathish Bolar informed about the membership development. The information on club installation and protocols during the visits of governors was given by the past assistant governor Dr. Aravind Bhat.

Meanwhile, past assistant governor Vinayak Prabhu gave valid tips on the rotary international website. District governor nominee (2020-21) Ranganath Bhat gave information about Rotary foundation service. Past assistant governors Ganesh Kamath and Nandakishore gave some essential tips on solving problems. Past governor Dr. Devadas Pai presented final review on the programme and proposed vote of thanks.

A total of 21 presidents and secretaries of Rotary districts which includes Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mangaluru and Kodagu districts were received training during the programme that was coordinated by present assistant governors like Sumith Rao, Geethanand Pai and Ravi.
