Roy Constructions ventures into water biz

Mangaluru: Roy Constructions is all set to venture into the mineral water business with the inauguration of its Roy-L mineral waters held on June 10 at Baikampady industrial area here.The inaugural ceremony commenced with blessings of Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza who also had the honour of ribbon cutting for unveiling the new facility which accommodates all the new technology to make water highly pure to drink.

Post the blessing ceremony, all the dignitaries present were called on stage.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included Bishop Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza; Kavitha Sanil, Mayor of Mangaluru; Madhukar Malli, Chairman, Madhu Constructions and Land Owner; Lawrence Pinto, Co-founder, Roy-l Mineral Waters; Walter Nandalike, Chairman, Daijiworld; Henry Britto, Chairperson, Kanara Small Scale Industries Association; Gokuldas Nayak, Joint Director of District Industries Centre; Pradeep Kumar Kalkur, President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat; Vishwanath Thunga, former chief manager, Syndicate Bank; Francis Cutinho, President, MCC Bank and Mangalore city corporators Praveen Chandra Alva and Naveen.

The dignitaries were given a warm welcome by Roy Castelino, co-founder alongside Lawerence Pinto and the chairman of Roy constructions. He gave a brief introduction of all the dignitaries, how he knew them and how helpful they were through his journey to this point.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha Sanil told the people present there how such projects are helpful in creating jobs in the city. She even spoke about how she looks forward on tackling the plastic rice and plastic egg issue as soon as she gets the slightest clue of where it is manufactured. She concluded by wishing the team of Roy-l the best in their endeavour.

Dr. Aloysius too wished the team for a big success in their venture as well as future ones.
