Kasargod: A Russian traveller was robbed of US $ 850 and Rs 2500 while he was travelling in a Kerala bound bus from Mangaluru.
Dimitri Rivalkin, the tourist, has filed a complaint in this regard at the Kasargod Town Police Station.
According to sources, Rivalkin had reached Mumbai from Russia last month. After touring Mumbai and Goa, he had come to Mangaluru. After visiting popular places here, he was on his way to Kerala via Kasaragod in a bus.
To his dismay, when he reached Kasaragod, he realized that his bag containing cash had gone missing. Fortunately, he had kept his visa and passport in another bag.
Investigations are underway.
