Mangaluru: Demanding India to be declared as a ‘Hindu Nation’ the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been protesting since four years. Following sessions being held at various levels across the country, the Dakshina Kannada unit session for 2015 will be held at Sharada Vidyalaya on November 1 from 10.30 am.

Informing the media about the session at Press Club here on Thursday, October 29, Samiti leader Guruprasad said, “The main objective of this movement is to foster Hindu religion, culture and more importantly to declare India as a Hindu Nation. There have been continuous attacks on our religion through Love Jihad, conversion, cow slaughter etc in the recent past. This cannot be tolerated.”

In the wake of murders of Hindu activists in the recent past, Guruprasad said the issue will be discussed on a priority during the session.

Sri Rama Sene leader Kumar Malemar alleged that Minister Abhaychandra Jain had been involved in the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Prashanth Poojary hailing from Mooodbidri and that he should be interrogated by the police so that the truth is brought out.

Dharmendra of Hindu Mahasabha, Manjula Ramananda Gowda of Sanathan Samstha and Vijayakumar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were present.
