Bengaluru/Dharmasthala: A day after the leak of a controversial video of former CM and coalition committee president Siddaramaiah, many Congress ministers, MLAs and party leaders met him at Shantivana, near Dharmasthala on Wednesday, June 27 and reportedly discussed the present political scenario.
Ministers Shivananda Patil, Ramesh Jarakiholi, Bellary MLA Nagendra, Athani MLA Mahesh Kamatalli, Kagavada MLA Shrimantha Patil, Basava Kalyana MLA B. Narayana Rao, Raichur MP B V Naik, Raichur Rural MLA Basavanagowda Daddal, Maski MLA Pratap Gowda Patil, former minister Anjaneya, MLC Dharmasena, Ivan D’Souza and others participated in the discussion, claimed sources. The discussion lasted for more than an hour at Shantivana Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital.
Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi said “There is nothing political in the meeting. Siddaramaiah is our leader. So we are here to check about his health.”
MLA Narayana Rao said, “Siddaramaiah is not neglected. He is the president of the coalition committee and Congress leader. If we neglect him, can we save the government? He has the main role in the coalition government.”
