Mangaluru: Around six shops were looted late night of Saturday June 13, near railway gate, Jeppu – Mahakalipadpu.
The heavy rains made the job easier as the thieves broke opened six shops and ran away with goods and cash, when there was no electricity and street lights were off.
The shop that were robbed included 2 general stores, Ajay hair dressing, A small hotel named Shree Ganesh, Shree Durgamba general stores and S A distributors, the dealers of lazza ice cream.
Police complaint has been lodged.
