Moodabidri: A soldier from Moodabidri has died in Rajasthan on Saturday, January 2.
The deceased is Girish Eshwar Poojary (35), a resident of Urki Nandadi in Badaga Mijar.
Girish was serving in Indian Army since 17 years. He came to his hometown 20 days ago and took his wife Roopa and four-year-old son, Gagan to Rajasthan. The reason for his death has not been ascertained.
His mortal remains will be brought to his hometown on Monday, January 4 (today) via Bengaluru and last rites will be performed with full military honour.
