Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajarang Dal will be organising ‘Sri Ramotsava’ in association with Maathramandali, Durgavaahini and Shree Ramotsava Samiti, from April 15 to 17 at Nehru Maidan.
Adressing mediapersons, Honorary President of VHP, M B Puranik said, “Every year we celebrate Sri Ramotsava. We would be celebrating it from April 15 to 17 this year.”
Sri Ramotsava Samiti, President, Sandesh Shetty informed that the samiti has also organised competitions for college students and others. It is expected that a large number of competitors are going to participate.
He further said that the programme would be concluding on the evening of April 17 at 8:45 with ‘Ravana Dhahana’. There would be fireworks on display.
VHP President Jagadeesh Shenava said, “India has now the most responsible PM we have ever seen. He responded well to the Kerala temple firework accident. He reached the spot on time with the rescue crew.
VHP Secretary, Gopal Kutthar and others were present.
