Srinivas University to organise international conference on August 16 and 17

Mangaluru: The College of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, in association with Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, Institute of Productivity, Grimsby, United kingdom and ICT Academy is organizing an international conference on “Emerging Trends in Management, Information Technology and Education” on August 16 and 17.

Informing about the same, Dr. P. S. Aithal, Vice-Chancellor of Srinivas University on Saturday, August 10 said that the conference is a platform giving exposure to the emerging trends in all fields. It also intends to cater to local, national as well as an international research community to meet, share and mutually benefit in the process of new knowledge creation. The conference will also feature an industry expert panel discussion, post-inaugural ceremony involving delegates from Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mangalore Smart City Ltd, ImaginXP, I nurture Education Solutions and Innogeecks organization.

The formal inauguration of the conference will be held on August 17, which will be presided over by Srinivas University Chancellor CA A Raghavendra Rao. More than 175 research paper abstracts have been received for this conference and the presented papers shall be published in the conference proceedings as well as in international journals after the review, Aithal said.

“Prof Y S Siddegowda, Vice-Chancellor, Tumkur University, Prof G Gopa Kumar Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Kerala, Prof Hamid Saremi, Vice-Chancellor, Islamic Azad University, Quchan Branch, Iran, Dr. B. Venkat Rathnam – Former Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal, A.P, INDIA, Venkat A Bhat, President, VentureSoft Global, California, USA. will be present as the chief guests,” he added.

Dean, College of Management and Commerce Dr. Shailashree V T, Placement Officer Prof. Varun Shenoy, Conference Coordinator Prof. Shreepathi Ranga Bhat, Journalism Department Faculty Prof. Ashwini Anush were present.
