Mangaluru: On account of the observation of the holy month of Eid Milad, Karnataka State Sunni Student’s Federation (SSF) will be organizing Ilal Habeeb Milad Rally and Hubburrasool Conference on Saturday December 19 at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru.
Addressing a press meet on Thursday December 17, President of SSF Hapil Yakub Sa’Adi Navoor said that the rally will take off from Jyoti at 3 pm and culminate at Nehru Maidan. As many as 10 teams from 10 divisions will participate in the rally.
State President of Shakhuna Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar will inaugurate the ceremony. State President of SSF NK Muhammad Shafi S’Adi will preside. Vice-President of MSO National Committee Dr Muhammad Farooque Nayeemi Al-Bukhari will deliver the keynote address. Karnataka Health Minister UT Khader, Mangaluru North MLA Moideen Bava, Chancellor of Yenepoya University Y Abdullah Kunhi Haji will be present among others, Navoor said.
Around 3,000-5,000 people are expected for the programme, he added.
