Mangaluru: The St. Aloysius Pre-University College has secured the highest results with the overall percentage of 98.12 in the PU board exam, here on Monday, April 15.
The college has also secured 526 distinctions.
In a total of 1916 students who had appeared for the board exams, 1880 students have cleared.
Students namely Halona Sancia Dantes has secured 98.17 percent in Science, Adihi Ashok Bhandari 98.5 percent in Commerce and Hannah P Jaideep 96.83 percent in Arts.
The triplets of the College , Prajwitha, Prasad and Prawan have secured 84.33%, 72% and 78.17% respectively.
Expressing his joy over the achievements of the students as well as the college Principal of St. Aloysius P U College, Rev Fr. Melwin Mendonca said, “It is the collective effort of lecturers, students and parents that have helped in achieving this overwhelming result.”
“Students have not only scored good results, but are now ready to grow and confident in facing the challenges of the world”, he added.
Meanwhile, he has congratulated all the students and has wished them very best for their future endeavours.
