Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath said the construction of an on-site oxygen generator unit of 500 LPM capacity at District Wenlock Hospital will start tomorrow on May 20.
After visiting District Wenlock Hospital, where the Oxygen Production Unit is being built, MLA Kamath said the project has been approved by the State Health and Family Welfare Department for the installation of a 500 LPM capacity oxygen-producing plant with VSA technology in 10 district hospitals.
“We will start construction of the oxygen production plant at Wenlock Hospital tomorrow,” he said.
Ravishankar Mizar, Chairperson of Mangalore Urban Development Authority, Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Chief Whip of Mangalore Metropolitan Policy, Radhakrishna, Nominated Member of MCC, Sudarshan M, BJP District President, and others were present.
