Students of St. Aloysius PU College performed “Changed World,” street play

Mangaluru: The lecturers and students of the humanities department, of St. Aloysius Pre-University College, performed a street play called “Changed World” on Saturday in the Kankanady Market and State Bank on the theme ‘Corona pandemic situation and the world thereafter’.

Dr. Sudha, a professor of Kannada at St. Aloysius’ College, created this street drama that sheds light on the current state of corona in India, and relief measures. This street drama is directed by Journey Theater Group member Raghava Suri and costumes designed by Kiran.

The transformation of lifestyle after Corona was highlighted in the street play. The public positively responded to the play. The College’s Board of Management congratulated the lecturers and students for their excellent performance on the campus of the college before presenting it in the public sphere.

Students Kshithi Manai, Anusha, Naomi Anah, Sanjana Shetty, Shirelene Jewel Maben, Gagana, Mayur, Shreesha Banakar, Srisha R, Shravya Adka, Rupa, and Jahnavi participated in the street play with the faculty members Dr. Gladwin Pamela Fernandes, Ms. Sharanya Mahesh, and Mrs. Bhavya.
