Belthangady: In response to a complaint given by the Tahsildar, the police have registered case against the prior’s driver for misusing official vehicle and for breach of trust.
According to reports, Tahsildar’s driver Rajesh had misused the official vehicle to collect fines from truck drivers transporting sand on taluk roads. Though he used to park the vehicle after office hours in the parking lot of the office premises, he used to then take out the official vehicle without permission of the Tahshildar to collect money from the truck drivers.
When Tahsiladar realized that his vehicle is being misused, he lodged an official complaint with the police. Accordingly police have registered a case of breach of trust and misuse of government vehicle against him.
