Mangaluru/Kasargod: A 19-year-old girl was drugged and gang raped in a lodge in Mangaluru. Kasargod Police have arrested two persons in connection with the case so far.
The arrested are P H Mohammed Suhail (24), a resident of Pilikunje and K H Saifudeen (23) of Edruthodu in Kasargod.
It is gathered that the victim went missing five days ago after returning from her husband’s house. As per the police complaint, three men abducted her and took to a lodge in Mangaluru. There she was drugged and repeatedly raped. Preliminary investigation suggests that 15 men have sexually assaulted the victim at the lodge.
It has also come to light that one of the accused had deposited Rs 1.65 Lakh into the victim’s bank account.
The girl was married six months ago and her husband is employed in Gulf.
