The inconvenience caused is regretted.
Mangaluru: World Konkani Centre, is distributing Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships-2023 to Konkani Speaking students for professional education in the stream of Engineering. Eligibility Criteria for the Engineering Scholarships were published on the website Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship
‘Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund’ has envisaged granting Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to students who have Konkani language as their mother tongue. Instituted in the year 2010 as envisioned by the eminent thinker and corporate leader T.V. Mohandas Pai, the World Konkani Centre has successfully raised and awarded scholarships to the tune of over Rs. 30 crores since 2010.
The Fund is functioning based on the ‘Stream’ concept, and the entire amount generated every year is distributed to beneficiaries and no separate corpus is maintained.

The Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund is administered by a Governing Council headed by Pradeep G. Pai as secretary and comprising eminent personalities. Eminent Konkani Philanthropists like Shri T.V.Mohandas Pai, Dr Ranjan Pai, Dr P. Dayanand Pai, Ramadas Kamath U., K. V. Kamath, Nandagopal Shenoy, M. Jagannath Shenoi, Madam Grace Pinto, Ullas Kamath, Gokulnath Prabhu, Sandeep Shenoy, B. R. Bhat, Jagadish Kini, and many more have been supporting this fund every year.
