Three more BJP party workers arrested in Mithun Rai threat to life case

Mangaluru: In the case pertaining to threats to life by fringe groups to Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress President Mithun Rai, three more accused have been arrested here on Wednesday, May 29.

The Bantwal Rural Police have arrested three Bharatiya Janata Party workers Pritam, Karna and Mokshith.

On May 23, during the BJP victory rally at Badakabail of Bantwal town, some of the fringe elements had raised slogans against the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha Congress candidate and Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress President Mithun Rai, threatening that they would mutilate him if he spoke anything against the Hindu organisations.

Earlier, the police had arrested Sachin (25) and Nishanth, both residents of Bantwal and Karthik (30), a resident of Kasargod.
