An eight-year-old boy, Mohammed Shayan, sustained injuries following a collision between an autorickshaw and a car near Maddadka Masjid in Kuvettu, Belthangady, on Wednesday. The incident occurred when Mahammud, 63, was driving the autorickshaw with Saleem and two children, Mohammed Shayan, 8, and Rifna, 6. According to Mahammud’s complaint, the car coming from the opposite direction collided with their autorickshaw, causing injuries to Saleem and Mohammed Shayan. After receiving initial treatment at a hospital in Guruvayankere, Mohammed Shayan was transferred to a hospital in Mangaluru for further medical attention. The Belthangady Traffic police station has registered a case regarding the accident.
