Mangaluru: After a landslide at Maranahalli, Donigal on Shiradi Ghat in Sakleshpur tauk, traffic has been completely banned on Shiradi Ghat Thursday July 22.
The vehicles moving towards Sakleshpur from Dakshina Kannada are being stopped at Gundya check-post. People who are travelling to Bengaluru from Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada district have been given notice to move their vehicles on Charmadi Ghat road or on other alternative routes.
According to reports, the movement of heavy vehicles have been banned on the Charmadi and Madikeri roads as it would pose difficulty for other vehicles.
