Mangaluru: Tulunada Rakshana Vedike organizes the ‘Tulunada Swatantrya Nenapu’ program to commemorate the independece of Tulu Nadu in Bavuta gudde on Monday, April 5.
After hoisting the flag the founder president of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike, Yogish Shetty Jeppu said, ” We know that India, a free Independent country that got its Independence on 15th August 1947. But behind the story of Independence, lies a vast history of sacrifices and struggles of our brave sons and daughters, who fought for the country’s Independence until their last breath. We celebrate Independence Day annually to remember those sacrifices our freedom fighters and young martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev did for us.
