Mangaluru: The custom officials seized gold worth Rs 3.6 lakh and apprehended two at the Bajpe Airport, Mangaluru on Thursday July 15.
Two men identified as Mohammed Ansar Kayyar and Mohammed Moods Miyas, both from Kasargod were hiding the gold, which was in the form a paste in a suitcase. The duo were passengers of Air India Express that landed from Dubai.
They were caught during the routine customs check.
