Kasargod: Two persons are said to be critical while 17 others sustained injuries after a clash broke out between DYFI and RSS activists on Tuesday, August 15.
According to the reports, the activists were returning after attending an an Independence Day rally at Korapara when a fight is said to have ensued between them at Mavungal injuring persons from both the parties.
The injured are being treated at a hospital in Kannur and Nileshwar.
A case has been registered under various IPC sections, including 147 (punishment for rioting). However no one has been arrested so far.
