Mangaluru: Two more people from Dakshina Kannada have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, taking the district’s total to 216.
The first patient, a 45-year-old lady had travelled from Mumbai to Udupi and had completed her quarantine period there. She then travelled to the Dakshina Kannada district where she tested positive for the infection. Her husband had tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease on June 4.
A 33-year-old man who had come to the district from Mumbai has also tested positive for COVID-19 today.
Meanwhile, the state’s tally rose by 204 new cases to 6245 and the death toll rose by three to 72.
