Mangaluru: Two youth met a watery grave when the motorcycle on which they are riding fell into the river at Kulur in the late hours of Thursday, November 22.
The deceased have been identified as Nithin (21), a resident of Akash Bhavan and Vijesh (21) of Bangra Kulur. According to police, the deceased were plying from Bangra Kuloor to Kuloor on Thursday night when the rider attempted to chase another motorcycle, he lost control over his motorcycle and slipped into the nearby river.
Two of their friends riding behind noticed the accident and attempted to rescue the duo with the help of locals in vain.
A case has been registered at Panambur Police Station in this regard.
