Two more test positive in DK; Total tally reaches 33

Mangaluru: Two more persons have beentested positive for Covid-19 today, May 12.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases increased to 33 in Dakshina Kannada district.

A 50-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man from Karkala taluk in Udupi district are the two persons who are tested positive for Covid-19 today.

District administration has informed that both were undrgoing treatment at First Neuro Hospital in Padil and they were in the contact of 80-year-old woman of Shakthinagar who was tested positive for Covid-19 recently. She is receiving treatment in ICU.

Both have been in quarantine after an 80-year-old woman of Shakthinagar was tested positive for Covid-19.

When the throat swab report came today, it was tested positive.
