Two pilgrims from Tumakuru land in watery grave in Ullal

Mangaluru: A visit to the Mogaveerapatna beach turned to be fatal for two persons of a group who had arrived in the city to pay obeisance at the Ullal Dargah.

It is gathered that a group of 10 persons, residents of Tumakuru were at Mogaveerapatna beach on Wednesday, June 28 morning when three persons from the group ventured into the waters. While the trio was swept away by the strong currents, one of the youths was rescued from being drowned.

The other two, Ayaz and Shahrukh however were not so fortunate. Meanwhile the body of one of the youth has been found while a search is on for the other missing youth.
