Mangaluru: Sea fury is not new to Ullal. Every year, the region faces gruesome episodes of season erosion, but in a rather saddening development, as many as eight houses have been battered by violent sea waves during the dry month of April itself.
Heavy tides showed up in the sea on Sunday, April 22.
Though no damages have occurred, the residents of eight houses are living in fear from Sunday morning.
It is said that long shore current from South and North moving parallely collide and cause some turbulent waves.
More details awaited.
