Mangaluru: Uma Prashsanth, the new Police Deputy Commissioner, took over charge of the crime and traffic department of the city commissionerate, from her predecessor Hanumantharaya on Tuesday, October 3.
Hanumatharaya has been moved to the law and order department of the city commissionerate.
Uma Prashanth has worked in different capacities in Bengaluru, Kunigal and as Deputy Commissioner of police in Karwar.
