Mangaluru: The mother of Usha shetty whose body was found under mysterious circumstances committed suicide here on Tuesday, January 5.
Shambhavi (52) is the deceased. The incident came to light only on Wednesday.
The body of Usha Shetty wife of Ashwin Shetty from Jeppinamogaru was found in a charred state near Yekkar on Friday, December 18. She had gone missing on December 17. Prima facie, it looked like she was murdered but the exact reason is not yet known.
Shambhavi was in shock over her daughter’s death. She had stopped speaking to family members.
After Usha’s death, her little children were taken care of by Shambhavi. She was at home till 10pm on Tuesday and went missing on Wednesday. Later, her body was found in a nearby well.
