Unidentified body found in train

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Central- Coimbatore Intercity Express face a delay of about one hour in its departure, on Friday, after the body of an unidentified male was found in one of the coaches of the train.

According to the police, just before the train was to leave at 11.45 a.m., the body of a male aged about 55 was found in one of the unreserved coaches. The Railway authorities immediately informed the government railway police, who shifted the body to Government Wenlock Hospital. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

The police said the person hailed from Kerala.
