Mangaluru: Two unidentified men attempted to attack rational thinker, Narendra Nayak in the city here Wednesday, March 15 morning.
It is gathered that Nayak was driving down towards Mangala stadium at around 6 am last morning when the unidentified men signaled him to stop since his tyre had punctured. Nayak, who has been receiving several death threats in the past for protesting the death of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga, sensed some kind of trouble and did not pay heed to their signals where after the men reportedly drove off.
However, on reaching his destination Nayak checked his vehicle for a puncture but did not find any. Suspecting a possible attempt at attack Nayak has filed a complaint in this regards.
