Mangaluru: The inauguration of GNM, B. Sc, PB B. Sc and M. Sc Nursing and B. Sc Renal Dialysis courses for the academic year 2018-19 was held at Athena College auditorium, Athena School and College of Nursing on 26 September 2018. Chairman R S Shettian inaugurated the academic year by lighting the lamp. Principal Sr. Dhanya Devasia, Vice Principal Dr Sr Alphonsa and student representatives were present.
A meaningful prayer service was conducted by Sr. Remya Joseph and Joanna Fernandes. Chairman and the Principal in their message said that the institution is proud to have them as students and is willing to do everything possible for their all around development, and wished them well to bloom where they are planted.
Lavita, Faculty, Mental Health Nursing department compered the programme. Anakleta Dorina Misquith, Associate Professor of Community Health Nursing department proposed the vote of thanks.
