Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Health and Family Welfare Department, Empowerment of Specially Abled and Senior Citizens Department, Federal Bank, Network-18, United Way, Mumbai, Samarthanam, organisation for specially abled, Sanjeevani, Bengaluru and other voluntary organisations will hold the programme. The programme will be held on Friday June 11 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
The vaccination will be administered to all the specially abled and their caregivers who are over 18 years. The programme will be held At. Agnes Special School, Bendoorwell, Lions’ Special School, Surathkal, and Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Kavoor. The care givers and eligible candidates should get their Aadhar Cards with candidates additionally getting their Certificate of Disability.
Similar camps will be held in all the Gram Panchayats of the Mangaluru Taluk. A loudspeaker campaign has been launched since June 10 to spread awareness among public. The inaugural event was held at the Mangalore Court premises on Thursday. A. B. Shilpa, Principal Senior Civil Judge was present as the chief guest.
