Kasargod: A person who was involved in a vehicle theft has been arrested by Kasargod police 13 years after he went absconding.
The arrested is identified as Mohammad Sufi (38) a resident of Talangere.
He is the prime accused in the 2002 vehicle theft case in Kudlu. He was arrested for theft but soon after he was out on bail he went missing, police officials said.
On reliable information that he had come to his native place, police carried out an operation and succeeded in arresting him.
