Mangaluru: Close on the heels of video footages being released by Mangaluru police with regard to violent protest, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa informed that the released video footages confirmed the hidden agenda of miscreants and also confirmed that it was pre-planned attack.
Addressing reporters at Circuit House on Tuesday night, Yediyurappa informed that it was a clear answer to those who blame police and question their action. “The seized goods tempo, in which protesters brought stones to the spot to throw it at the police and to damage public properties, also testify to the incident,” he said.
Responding to an allegation of KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao that the CM was responsible for the incident, Yediyurappa said that opposition party leaders indulge in accusing the BJP government and its leaders because they do not have any other option “They are trying to gain political mileage from the incident and also through their statement,” he added.
The CM stayed in Circuit House after visiting Kannur in Kerala on Tuesday.
