Mangaluru: Former MLA JR Lobo filed a complaint with Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Vipul Kumar against doctoring the videos of Congress party worker’s celebration of coalition government in the state, on Saturday May 19.
Lobo along with the Congress party workers visited Police commissioner’s office and informed Commissioner that the Congress party workers had celebrated the formation of coalition government in the state, on Saturday May 19. During the celebration party workers have raised only pro-Congress slogans. But the videos of celebrations posted on social networking sites have been doctored and twisted, accusing that the Congress party workers have raised pro-Paksitan slogans.
“We have respect and love towards our country. We are not traitors like these people who doctored the video to accuse the Congress workers. Hence the police should take strict action against those culprits who are behind this incident.” Lobo added.
Police Commissioner Vipul Kumar has assured of taking stringent action against the culprits.
“As soon as this issue came to our notice, I have asked to take up a ‘Suo Motu’ case. We will be taking stringent action against culrpits.” he said and urged the people not to circulate the videos or messages which communally polarize the society.
