Moodabidri: In a gruesome murder, a woman killed her own husband with her paramour’s aid in Kukkadakatte near Mudukonaje village of Moodabidri taluk.
Jayaraj (36), resident of Uppinangady is the deceased.
Jayaraj had come to his in-laws house at Mudukonaje on September 16. His wife informed her paramour about his arrival and both hatched a plot to kill him. The victim was killed using iron rods and later his body was thrown into a nearby well belonging to villager Katti Guruva.
A case was registered at Moodabidri police station after the incident. Police during the interrogation of the accused were able to unearth information regarding the killing. They brought the accused near the well to extract the body. As the body was tied with large boulders and dropped, efforts are on to recover the remains with the help of diving experts.
