Yenepoya to encourage students in art through “Group Aesthete”

Mangaluru: In order to encourage and train the students in the field of painting, photography and visual art, the Yenepoya University will be inaugurating “Group Aesthete”, a visual art club platform for painting and photography on September 27 at YDC auditorium at 9:30 am.

Dr. Akther Hussain is the chairperson of the “Group Aesthete”.

The club will be inaugurated by the Art Critic and Columnist Giridhar Khasnis from Bengaluru. There will be a visual presentation on art by Khasnis. Later an art exhibition will be organized by the students of Yenepoya University.

The main motto of this club is to make art an enjoyable pastime, improving general intellectual ability by indulging in artistic work, and developing a better neural system through art.

The club has also decided to support the young generation and provide a platform to enhance their creativity and help them reach their optimum potential.
