Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress Committee opposing the BJP Yuva Morcha’s Mangaluru Chalo bike rally, termed that BJP had no moral right to hold the protest demanding a ban on “communal” organisations.
Mithun Rai, President of Youth Congress, said that the accused in the murder of Ashraf Kalai and Sharath Madiwal were from the communal organisation of Sangh Parivar and SDPI. It clearly shows that both organisations are the same, he added.
“The government should not give permission for Mangaluru Chalo. Mangaluru Chalo is the hidden agenda of BJP to create communal unrest in the district to gain political mileage. BJP is urging to handover the murder cases of Hindu activists to CBI. In that case, even the murders of Vinayaka Baliga, Karthik Raj, Praveen Poojary and Harish Poojary should be handed over to CBI”, he opined.
Commenting on BJP Yuva Morcha President Harish Poonja terming Ramanath Rai as follower of Nazism, Mithun Rai said Harish Poonja had no maturity in politics. It is the Sangh Parivar which has nurtured the Nazism, he charged.
