Youth from coastal Karnataka stranded in Saudi Arabia finally return home

Belthangady: Three youth from coastal Karnataka who were stranded in Saudi Arabia after being cheated with the promise of job, have landed safely in their native places. Thanks to an Indian based association ‘Indian Social Forum(ISF), which came forward to help the youth and arranged their return flight ticket.

Santhosh Kumar a resident of Kutlur inBelthangady, Sachin Kumar from Kaup and Abdul Rashid from Sullia are the victims who were cheated by the employment agency. The trio had been to Saudi Arabia eight months ago through an agency in search of job. Despite working for three months in a company, they were not paud their salary.

The trio hence brought their plight into the notice of the ISF members. ISF members met the company management and ensured to get their salary. The vicitms then lost their jobs and were stranded since they had no necessary documents with them.

The victims were helped by the SDPI leaders to get their documents back and on December 9 they landed at Mangaluru airport after ISF booked their tickets.

SDPI leaders arranged for their safe return to their respective homes.
